Tom Cruise Danced Through A Spirit Tunnel AND Handed Out Coconut Cake To An Entire Studio Audience — Are You On The List?
Tom Cruise danced through the Jennifer Hudson Show Spirit Tunnel, told the host she's already on his famous coconut cake list, and then handed slices to the ENTIRE audience.
Stop scrolling, because Tom Cruise just turned a daytime talk show into a full-blown dessert-and-dance party — and honestly? We'd have sold a kidney for a seat.
The star stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show and managed to do two very Tom things at once: dance like Risky Business was yesterday and hand out his famously exclusive coconut cake to everyone in the room. Yes, really.
The Spirit Tunnel Situation
If you don't know the tradition: guests on Jennifer Hudson's show walk (or dance) through a hallway of crew members who sing to them. For Tom, the team went with "Old Time Rock and Roll" as a nod to his iconic 1983 Risky Business dance scene, according to E! News.
Their lyrics? "He's a legend everybody loves, he's got that Tom Cruise rock and roll." We are NOT okay.
And Tom did not phone it in. Per E!, he took his sweet time down the hallway in black pants, a matching button-down and dark sunglasses, even backtracking multiple times to pull crew members off the wall to dance with him. At the end, he made a hand heart and told the crowd, "Thank you guys."
Now, About That Cake 🥥
Here's where it gets delicious. TMZ reports that Jennifer asked how she could get on the list for Tom's signature coconut cake, which he gifts to fellow celebrities each holiday season.
His answer: she's already on the list. Cue the screaming.
But he didn't stop there. Tom had brought cake for the whole studio audience, so everybody got a slice. Jennifer came bearing gifts too, handing out her mom's traditional pound cake. A dessert summit, basically.
According to TMZ, the host was so delighted by the sweet treats that she burst into song, and they say she sounded flawless. Shocking absolutely no one.
Tom On Being Adored
Between the dancing and the dessert, Tom got a little reflective. Per E!, the 64-year-old said it's "a beautiful thing to be able to walk into a room and people smile," and described fame as "an absolute privilege and responsibility."
He also said he loves connecting in person: "Don't send me emails. We're going to sit down. We're going to communicate like face to face." Noted, Tom. Our inbox is crying.
The star is out promoting his new film Digger, in which, per E!, he plays an oil tycoon convinced he can save the world, in a dark satirical comedy with heavy prosthetics.

The Verdict
Mission: Impossible? No. Mission: Get On Tom's Cake List? Extremely possible, apparently, if you're Jennifer Hudson.
Now we want to know: if you could get ONE celebrity to put you on their holiday gift list, who would it be, and what are you hoping arrives at your door? Tell us in the comments. Our answer is obviously coconut cake.
