This Woman Got Jason Sudeikis' Mail For Over A Year β€” And What Happened Next Is SO Wholesome

Stop scrolling, because this might be the most adorable celebrity encounter story of the year β€” and it all started with some very persistent junk mail.

Taylor Palmby moved into her Manhattan apartment in May 2025, excited for a fresh start in the Big Apple. But about a month later, she started getting mail that definitely wasn't addressed to her.

It was addressed to Jason Sudeikis. Yes, THAT Jason Sudeikis.

Wait, WHAT?

According to Page Six, the mental health counselor and content creator kept receiving the "Ted Lasso" star's mail over and over again β€” we're talking Writers Guild of America correspondence, Producers Guild letters, and even those fancy "For Your Consideration" awards screeners.

"I was like, 'No way. There's no way this is the same Jason Sudeikis. There's no way,'" Palmby told People.

But a quick Google search confirmed her suspicions: she was living in Jason Sudeikis' old apartment. (Iconic, honestly.)

The Tea β˜•

  • Taylor Palmby moved into a Manhattan apartment in May 2025
  • She started receiving Jason Sudeikis' mail about a month later β€” including industry guild correspondence and awards screeners
  • After getting about five pieces of his mail over a year, she decided it was her "job" to get it back to him
  • She went viral on social media asking for help tracking him down

She Made It Her MISSION

For over a year, the mail kept coming. And instead of just tossing it or ignoring it, Palmby decided she had one job: get this mail to Jason Sudeikis.

"I don't know why, but I was like, 'It has become my job now to get this mail to Jason Sudeikis,'" she explained to People.

Inspired by another creator who successfully got Michael B. Jordan's attention on social media (yes, that actually worked), Palmby started posting videos about her Sudeikis mail situation.

The Internet CAME THROUGH

And honestly? The response was wild.

"The amount of people that know Jason Sudeikis is amazing," Palmby said. "I have so many DMs, 'I'm his cousin. I know his sister. You can connect to this management company. My boyfriend is best friends with him or my ex knows him.'"

She described it as "six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but one degree of Jason Sudeikis."

The videos eventually caught the attention of Sudeikis' PR team, who invited Palmby to the Tuesday NYC premiere of "Ted Lasso" Season 4, where she finally β€” FINALLY β€” got to hand over his mail in person.

And Then She Met Him πŸ₯Ή

So how did the actual meeting go? Pretty perfectly, tbh.

"He was really sweet," Palmby told Page Six. "And he was like, 'I didn't even recognize the apartment.'"

(Which, fair. It's been a minute since he lived there.)

The whole thing is giving main-character energy in the best possible way. A random New Yorker gets celebrity mail, decides to be a good human about it, goes viral, and ends up at a premiere meeting said celebrity? We are LIVING for this storyline.

Plus, it's a nice reminder that not all celebrity encounters have to be chaotic or cringe β€” sometimes they're just... really nice?
