Stop everything, because Taylor Swift just made history. Again.

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that the pop icon will be inducted this fall β€” and at just 36 years old, she's officially the youngest writer EVER to receive the honor. Yes, really.

The Tea β˜•

  • Taylor Swift is being inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame this fall
  • At 36, she's the youngest inductee in the hall's history
  • She sent an emotional message about Nashville being her "dream" city
  • This comes just two months after she became the youngest female writer in the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York
  • The ceremony marks the 20th anniversary of her debut album "Taylor Swift"

"A Beautiful Thing"

Swift wasn't at the livestream announcement event where executive director Mark Ford revealed this year's inductees, but she sent a message that has us EMOTIONAL.

"From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be," Swift said in her statement. "I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I'd dreamed of."

She continued: "A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don't. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I'm very grateful."

We're not crying, YOU'RE crying. 😭

She's On A Roll

This latest accolade comes hot on the heels of Swift's induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York back in June, according to Variety. At that ceremony, she became the youngest female writer ever to join that hall.

Now she's gone one better with Nashville's honor, breaking the overall age record regardless of gender. The woman simply cannot stop making history.

Swift was inducted in a category that honors songwriters who've been at it for 20 years or longer β€” which, not coincidentally, is the 20th anniversary year of her debut album "Taylor Swift." From "Tim McGraw" to "Fortnight," she's been writing her story (and ours) for two full decades.

The Shade Was REAL

When fellow inductee Lee Thomas Miller stepped up to the podium at Tuesday's announcement event, he couldn't resist a cheeky jab: "I'm so happy that Taylor Swift finally got a break. She needed a win."

The crowd ate it up. Because honestly? When you're breaking records left and right, a little playful shade just comes with the territory.

Who Else Made The Cut

Swift wasn't the only one honored. Also joining the hall this year: Lyle Lovett, Shawn Camp, Lee Thomas Miller, and Bruce Channel, Variety reports.

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame was established in 1970 and had 254 members before this year's announcement. The induction ceremony will take place sometime this fall β€” exact date TBD.

The Bottom Line

Twenty years after a teenage Taylor Swift moved to Nashville with a guitar and a dream, the city that raised her is giving her one of its highest honors. And she's the youngest person EVER to receive it.

From writing songs in her childhood bedroom to rewriting the record books, Taylor Swift's journey is the ultimate Nashville success story. And honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way.
