Sandra Bullock And Nicole Kidman Just SERVED At The Practical Magic 2 Premiere β And Wait Until You See The Tattoo Sandra Debuted β¨π«
The Owens sisters reunited on the red carpet in London wearing thigh-high slits and serious magic β and Sandra's new shoulder ink has everyone EMOTIONAL.
Stop scrolling, because the Owens sisters just cast a spell on the red carpet β and we are NOT okay. πβ¨
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman absolutely STUNNED at the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Tuesday night, and honestly? These two haven't aged a single day since the original film dropped in 1998. According to TMZ, both actresses brought serious heat to the red carpet with matching thigh-high slits that had everyone doing a double-take.
Sandra rocked a strapless leopard-print Givenchy gown with a corset that showed off her killer curves, while Nicole glowed in a custom sequined Chanel number with beautiful gold chain details draped across the bodice. The vibes? Absolutely immaculate.
But Wait β Sandra Has New Ink And We're CRYING
Here's where things got emotional. E! Online reports that Sandra debuted a delicate new shoulder tattoo featuring the letters "L" and "B" intertwined with an exponent of two.
And yes, the meaning is absolutely beautiful. While Sandra hasn't publicly addressed the ink, fans immediately clocked that it appears to honor her two kids β son Louis, 16, and daughter Laila, 12 β as well as her late partner Bryan Randall, who died in 2023 at age 57 after a three-year battle with ALS.
The subtle tribute was visible thanks to her strapless gown, and honestly? We're not crying, you're crying.
The Tea β
- Sandra and Nicole wore matching thigh-high slits on the red carpet
- Sandra debuted a new shoulder tattoo reading "LBΒ²" β likely honoring her kids Louis and Laila, plus late partner Bryan
- Stockard Channing made her first red carpet appearance in TWO YEARS
- The premiere marks the sequel to the beloved 1998 cult classic
Stockard Channing Made A Rare Appearance Too
But the Practical Magic 2 premiere wasn't just about the Owens sisters. Page Six spotted 82-year-old Stockard Channing stepping onto her first red carpet in over two years β just weeks after she wrote in a Sunday Times essay that she's been "happy being a recluse" since the 2014 death of her partner.
Channing looked absolutely stunning in a tailored midnight blue suit with a cream-colored blouse, soft waves in her brunette hair, and a dramatic lariat chain necklace. She was photographed wrapping her arm around co-star Dianne Wiest for an affectionate photo, and the Grease icon's rare appearance had fans absolutely thrilled.
Earlier this month, Channing admitted she's "lived alone" outside Hollywood since selling her Los Angeles home in 2019, taking things slowly and pottering around. But she made an exception for this premiere β and we're so glad she did.
The Sequel We've Been Waiting For
The original Practical Magic has been a cult favorite for nearly three decades, with fans obsessed with the witchy vibes, sisterhood energy, and midnight margaritas. Now Sandra and Nicole are reprising their roles as the Owens sisters for the long-awaited sequel, joined by Joey King, Maisie Williams, and the rest of the magical cast.
Channing herself admitted in a 2020 Vulture interview that Practical Magic has been "a favorite for a lot of people" over the years, and that working with Nicole and Sandra was "congenial" and "playful."
"Both Nic and Sandy were enormously warm," she recalled. "Sandy is very, very funny and smart, and Nic was just lovely. It was a very, very congenial time, and all that coven-y thing of running around."
We Are So Ready For This
Between Sandra's emotional new tattoo, the absolutely STUNNING red carpet looks, and Stockard Channing coming out of her self-described recluse era to celebrate the sequel, this premiere gave us everything we needed and more.
Now we just need to know: when can we actually WATCH this movie? Because after seeing these looks, we're ready to book our tickets for midnight margaritas and sisterhood magic ASAP.
