8. Nicole Kidman's Bangs Are Doing A LOT

At Chanel's Paris show, Nicole Kidman revealed a new look with ultra-long curtain bangs brushed dramatically across her eyes, according to E! News. Her daughter Faith Urban came along in a Chanel cardigan.

Bold? Yes. Practical? We have questions. But Paris Fashion Week is for taking swings, and we respect the swing.

7. Slayyyter Is Giving Us A "Brother Album"

Slayyyter just announced Worst Man in America, a companion to this year's Worst Girl in America, per The Hollywood Reporter. It's not a deluxe edition: nearly every track is new, and some are direct "inversions" of songs on the first album.

It's due Dec. 4, and "Hey Boyyy" is already on our list. Gimmicky? Maybe. Genius? Possibly.

6. The Golden Globes Podcast Shortlist Is Out

Round two of the Globes' Best Podcast category is coming, and per Deadline, 30 shows made the list. Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend and Las Culturistas are newcomers, joining SmartLess, Call Her Daddy and New Heights.

Amy Poehler's Good Hang won the inaugural prize, so everyone's chasing her. Ranking this one low only because it's January's problem.

5. Michael Douglas Is OVER The Nepo Baby Discourse

On the SmartLess podcast, Michael Douglas said the "nepo" label "really pisses me off," according to Variety. His argument is that parents in every industry try to help their kids get in.

He also said good material is the best advice for aspiring actors. His memoir One Helluva Ride lands today, so the timing is... noted. Where do YOU land on this one?

4. Zak Bagans Bought A Cold War Bunker. Yes, Really.

The Ghost Adventures star spent $4.5 million on a 16,000-square-foot Las Vegas "Underground Mansion," per TMZ. It has painted skies, fake landscaping and lighting that mimics different times of day, all nearly three stories underground.

TMZ says some staff refused to go down there alone. Bagans plans a museum and a documentary. We're already booking tickets (and bringing a friend).

3. Sebastian Stan Almost Joined The Vampire Diaries

Stan told the Happy Sad Confused podcast he was offered Paul Wesley's role of Stefan Salvatore and passed, feeling burnt out after Kings, per E! News. He says he's grateful now, adding he wasn't sure he was ready for that exposure.

The casting director previously said he was also considered for Damon. Picture Stan in the Salvatore brothers' love triangle. We are NOT okay.

2. Simu Liu Got Married, And Taylor Swift Is Part Of The Story

Simu Liu and Allison Hsu reportedly tied the knot in France, according to E! News, which cites TMZ's report. They got engaged in Paris in May 2025.

The best part is the proposal backstory. Liu has said his fiancée is a Swiftie, so he asked Taylor's team for a two-second video. Two days later, Taylor sent a congratulations clip, and Hsu "really lost it." Iconic.

1. A Survivor Castaway Lost Part Of His Thumb, And He's Talking

Survivor 51's Brady Booker accidentally hacked off part of his thumb while chopping firewood, a moment TMZ says will "go down in reality TV history." On The TMZ Podcast, he said his main worry was being pulled from the game, and he credited the on-set doctor for keeping him calm.

He also teased there's more you didn't see on camera, and that there will "most certainly" be thumb updates later in the season. Gasp-worthy TV, and a very good sport about it.

Which of these is YOUR number one? Would you have taken the Stefan Salvatore role? Drop your own ranking in the comments.
