Stop scrolling, because a literal BEATLE has just spilled what he told Taylor Swift before performing at her wedding — and it is exactly as swoony as you'd hope.

The Request Heard Round The Wedding

Paul McCartney stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Friday and dished on his set at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding in New York City, Page Six reports.

According to the outlet, Taylor personally asked the 84-year-old to sing The Beatles' 1964 classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Honestly? Iconic song choice for a wedding. We have no notes.

Paul Had ONE Condition

Here's where it gets good. McCartney says he had his own request for the bride.

"I said, you should sing along, and you should sing it to your man," he told Kimmel, per Page Six, as the audience cracked up. Kimmel's response: "Seems like reasonable advice!" We could not agree more.

Please note: we do NOT have confirmation of whether Taylor actually took the advice and serenaded Travis mid-song. McCartney's comments, as reported, only cover what he asked her to do. If you have a guest who was in that room, we have questions.

What We Already Knew About The Night

Page Six previously reported that after the vows, Taylor's mom Andrea invited everyone into the reception room, where a stage was set up for McCartney's performance. Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks was also said to have performed, and the party reportedly stretched into the early hours of the next morning.

Per the outlet, the couple married at Madison Square Garden. A stage, a Beatle AND Stevie Nicks. Cool, cool, cool, nobody else is allowed to have a wedding now.

The Friendship Goes Way Back

This isn't a random celebrity booking. Page Six notes the two have been friends for years and once shared a Rolling Stone cover. McCartney was spotted at an Eras Tour show at Wembley in 2024, and Taylor attended one of his concerts at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this year.

He's also been publicly gushing. Speaking to Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2 last May, he called her "very good" and "very clever," and compared her worldwide fame to what The Beatles experienced. His verdict on whether she needs his advice? "I don't think she needs any advice, to tell you the truth." (Though apparently she got a little wedding advice anyway.)

The Tea ☕

  • Taylor asked Paul McCartney to sing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" at her July 3 wedding, per Page Six.
  • Paul's condition: she should sing along, "to your man."
  • Stevie Nicks was also reported to have performed at the star-studded night.

So... Did She Do It?

We'd like to believe the bride belted every word straight at Travis. Until someone from inside that room confirms it, it stays in the "please, let it be true" file.

Would YOU sing along to your own wedding performance if a Beatle told you to? And what song would you request? Tell us in the comments. 🎶
