Liverpool's defense has been in CRISIS mode. ESPN reports that new head coach Andoni Iraola has been scrambling for defensive reinforcements, with Joe Gomez, Giovanni Leoni, and Jérémy Jacquet all working their way back from injury.

Earlier this week, BBC Sport reported that Manchester City rejected a £38.5 million bid from Barcelona for Ballon d'Or winner Rodri — which feels relevant when you realize Barça are clearly in the market for midfield reinforcements.
