Cristiano Ronaldo Just MARRIED Georgina Rodríguez After Nearly A Decade Together — And The Ring Pics Are EVERYTHING 💍
After nearly ten years together, five kids, and THAT massive engagement ring, the soccer legend and his longtime love just made it official in Portugal. The Instagram announcement has us in our FEELINGS.
Stop EVERYTHING because Cristiano Ronaldo is officially off the market — like, for real this time.
The Portuguese soccer superstar, 41, just confirmed he married his longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez, 32, in an intimate civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal on August 11, according to People. And honestly? The way they announced it has us absolutely SOBBING.
Ronaldo shared the news via Instagram with the most perfect photo: their hands resting on top of each other, both sporting simple gold wedding bands. The caption? Just "C❤️G." We are NOT okay. 😭
Finally Making It Official
The couple has been together for nearly a decade after first meeting in June 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez worked as a sales assistant. Yes, really — this is literally a fairy tale.
"I felt something inside that can't be explained, as if we had known each other all our lives," Rodríguez told Vogue Arabia back in May 2025. She said that when they "held hands for the first time" there was "inexplicable peace and energy."
Ronaldo confessed in the Netflix series "I Am Georgina" that he didn't expect to hit it off so quickly with the model. "But after a while I felt that she was the woman of my life," he gushed.
STOP. We can't handle how romantic this is. 💕

We Saw This Coming (Kind Of)
Eagle-eyed fans have been CONVINCED these two secretly tied the knot for literally YEARS now.
Back in July, Page Six spotted both of them wearing wedding bands on their ring fingers while arriving in Mallorca, Spain. The rumor mill went into overdrive.
And remember when Ronaldo called Rodríguez his "wife" during a 2024 workout video for fitness brand Whoop? "Most important thing is, it's not what you do, it's you have to do. When I'm not training in the club, I like to work with my wife at home," he said in the clip.
At the time, his publicist told Page Six: "At this time, I cannot confirm nor deny that Cristiano has married Georgina. I simply do not know." The mystery!
That Engagement Ring Though
The couple officially announced their engagement in August 2025, and Rodríguez showed off her absolutely MASSIVE sparkler on Instagram.
"Yes I do. In this and in all my lives," she captioned the upload (translated from Spanish).
Page Six exclusively reported that the colossal engagement ring could cost between $2 and $5 million. Just casual! 💎
Their Beautiful Blended Family
When Ronaldo and Rodríguez met, the soccer legend already had his eldest son Cristiano Jr. with an unidentified woman, and had welcomed twins Eva and Mateo via surrogacy.
The couple welcomed their first baby together, daughter Alana, on Nov. 12, 2017, successfully blending their growing family.
In October 2021, they revealed they were expecting twins. But in April 2022, Ronaldo and Rodríguez shared the devastating news that their baby boy Ángel died during childbirth, while his twin sister Bella survived.
"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel," they announced in a joint statement via social media at the time, according to TMZ. "Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness."
In November 2022, Ronaldo shared that he and his family continue to keep the memory of Ángel alive and talk about him every day.
What's Next For The Newlyweds?
Ronaldo recently announced that the 2026 World Cup would be his last, becoming the first player to score a goal in six installments of the international tournament. Icon behavior!
He continues to play for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, but E! Online reports he's been open about looking forward to retirement.
"I have other passions. I'm going to have more time for me. I'm going to have more time for my family, to raise my kids," he told Piers Morgan last November.
And now he gets to spend that time with his WIFE. Excuse us while we cry happy tears. 😭💕
